ABCI Services in FY2021 have been started since 2021/04/07 10:00. The main changes are as follows.
Update of Software and Modules
Configuration of software and modules has been updated.
Please refer to “How to Use ABCI > ABCI Users Guide > System Updates” for more details.
Enhancement of Storage Systems
The storage systems have been enhanced.
Please refer to “How to Use ABCI > ABCI Users Guide > User Guide > 1. ABCI System Overview > Storage Systems” for more details.
Data Migration of Group Area
Configuration of group area is going to be updated as the storage systems have been enhanced. In more details, data in the group area used in FY2020 are going to be migrated into the new group area.
Please refer to “How to Use ABCI > ABCI Users Guide > FAQ” for more details.
On the other hand, any ABCI group, newly created in FY2021, will not be affected by this data migration since only new group area is assinged to that kind of ABCI group.
120 Compute Nodes (A) that form in total 960 NVIDIA A100 GPU accelerators (updated 2021/05/10)
Compute Nodes (A) are available since May 10, 2021. Please refer for the difference between Compute Node (A) and Compute Node (V).
Application for Continuous Use in FY2021
Please apply “Application for Continuous Use in FY2021” in order to keep using ABCI in FY2021, if your ABCI group was created in FY2020 or earlier.
