As of May 1, 2022, the related notification of the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law was revised, and even if a person is a “resident,” “a person who is strongly influenced by a foreign corporation, etc. or foreign government, etc.” is judged as a “person falling under the Specific Category,” and the provision of technology to such a person is subject to security export control. Before FY2022, the person in charge of the use of ABCI submitted a Declaration regarding the applicability to Specific Categories for each student.
In light of the recent economic and security situation, from FY2023, all ABCI users will be required to submit a Declaration regarding the applicability to Specific Categories.
All ABCI Users are requested to submit a Declaration regarding the applicability of specific categories through the ABCI User Portal.
For students, etc. (students who are not under the direction and order of the ABCI user corporation, JSPS special researchers, emeritus professors, etc.), please continue to submit the application from the responsible person of ABCI group.
