As announced on August 14, 2025, due to a significantly higher-than-expected volume of point applications, there is a risk of exceeding the maximum number of points that can be issued within the available computational resources. Although restrictions on point issuance have been in effect since August 21, in order to avoid further complications, we have decided to close the acceptance of point applications.
Accordingly, we would like to inform you of the termination of ABCI point issuance and the acceptance of applications for new or continued usage of ABCI Group for this fiscal year, as outlined below.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our users, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
The issuance of ABCI points and the acceptance of applications for new or continued usage of ABCI Group will end at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
For users considering submitting a large volume of point applications (10,000 points or more), we would appreciate it if you could consult with the ABCI application reception team listed below prior to submitting your application.
1. For Point Additions:
You cannot apply for additional points until your point usage rate exceeds 50%.
Once your point usage rate exceeds 50%, you can apply for additional points up to “2,000 points”.
If you wish to apply for more points beyond this, please apply within a range that ensures your point usage rate after the addition does not fall below 50%.
Example: If your total acquired points are 20,000 and your remaining points are 5,000, you can apply for up to 10,000 additional points.
Point usage rate after addition: (20,000 - 5,000) / (20,000 + 10,000) = 50%
2. For New ABCI Group (including continued use application):
The upper limit is set at 2,000 points.
Additionally, the deadline for “continued use application” for users continuing from FY2024 is set at 5:00 p.m. on September 30th, 2025.
In conjunction with the above measures, if it becomes difficult to secure the computational resources necessary for AI development on ABCI 3.0, we would like you to consider using GPU cloud services provided by domestic providers.
