Notice Regarding Changes to the Number of Reservation Nodes (Maximum Limit) for Fiscal Year 2025

ABCI 3.0 Compute Node Congestion Status and Countermeasures

Due to significantly higher-than-expected usage, computational resources are currently extremely congested, making it difficult to process jobs. To mitigate this situation as much as possible and ensure broader, fairer access to computational resources, we have decided to adjust the maximum number of reservation nodes.

Accordingly, we hereby notify you of the changes to the maximum reservation node count for this fiscal year as follows.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our users. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Changes to the Upper Limit for the Number of Reserved Nodes

We will change the maximum number of nodes that can be reserved as follows.

Item Normal Settings Temporary Settings During Node Congestion
Maximum number of nodes can be reserved at once per system 640 nodes 96 nodes
Maximum reserved node time per reservation 10,752 nodes x hour 5,376 nodes x hour

There are no other changes to the setting value.
