ABCI 3.0 will be provided primarily for public use for the purposes of research and development, evaluation, and human resource development of cutting-edge AI technologies such as foundation models, generative AI, and multimodal AI. To achieve this, among the uses (referred to as “standard use”) stipulated in the Agreement of Use for the Shared High-Performance Computer, ABCI, those uses that meet the requirements regarding suitability to the purpose, openness of development, user attributes, and attributes of the funds that cover the usage fees will be certified as “development acceleration use” and computational resources will be provided at a discounted rate from the standard usage fee.

Development acceleration use will be approved based on the application of a user corporation that meets the eligibility and the application requirements and the content of the research and development project.
