Next ABCI compute nodes after November and application for use
We are pleased to announce the handling of ABCI groups, ABCI accounts, and ABCI points after November, the planned provision of compute nodes for the next ABCI, and the planned acceptance of applications for use of the ABCI. The handling of ABCI groups, ABCI accounts, and ABCI points after November
ABCI Groups, ABCI accounts, and ABCI points used through October will continue to be available through March 30, 2025. Please submit the necessary applications such as additional ABCI points and addition/modification/deletion of ABCI accounts before the respective due dates described bellow.
The planned provision of compute nodes for the next ABCI
- November-December: No compute nodes provided.
- Until mid-January: The next ABCI service environment is being prepared to start offering the next ABCI compute nodes with fee.
- Resource type, fees, etc. have not yet been determined and will be announced separately as soon as they are determined. We will make another announcement regarding how to use the next ABCI.
The planned acceptance of applications for use of the ABCI
- Among the applications, the ABCI continuation application is due September 12. This due date may be earlier.
- Applications for new use and additional ABCI points will be due by October 15, with specific dates to be announced in the ABCI main portal news.
- Other applications (e.g., addition/modification/deletion of ABCI accounts, storage-related applications, etc.) will close on October 31, but applications requiring a review period, such as addition of ABCI accounts, should be submitted by October 15.
