Application for continuation should be submitted by Fri, Mar 22!!!
- If your renewal application is approved by Fri, Mar 22, you will be able to access the ABCI User Portal immediately after the maintenance at Fri, Apr 12 3:00pm.
- If you submit an application for continuation after Fri, Mar 22, the start of your service may be delayed.
- Please understand that even if you submit a new application by Fri, Mar 22, you will not necessarily be able to access the ABCI User Portal immediately after the maintenance at Fri, Apr 12 3:00pm because it takes longer to review a new application than an application for continuation.
For the start of use in FY2024 <Important!>
We ask all users, including those who continue to use the service, to apply for “Specific Category Applicability” promptly after Apr 12 3:00pm. If you do not fall under any of the “Specific Categories”, please submit that “I am not under the Specified Category.”
- Please refer to the following URL for details on “Specific Category Applicability”:
In the following cases, ABCI users are not required to declare “Specific Category Applicability” by themselves.
- Japanese Students, etc.
- The responsible person for ABCI use will declare “ Specific Category Applicability” at the time of application for use. Therefore, it is not necessary for ABCI users to report “ Specific Category Applicability” on their own. If the application is approved, the ABCI user can use the ABCI.
- The responsible person for ABCI use should apply based on the most current information. If there is a graduation, please delete or edit the user information appropriately.
- Non-residents
- The responsible person for ABCI use will attach the “Foreign Checklist” to the application for use of ABCI. Non-residents do not need to declare “ Specific Category Applicability”. If the application for use is approved, ABCI use will be available.
- Non-residents and persons who fall into a specific category are subject to an annual review of export control procedures for use of the ABCI, and the responsible person must download the latest “Foreign Checklist” and enter the latest information each time they apply for use of the ABCI.
- The “Foreign Checklist” is subject to change without notice. Refer here for the latest “Foreign Checklist”.
