Applications for ABCI use in FY2023 (New or Continued) will be accepted from Wed, Mar 15 3:00pm.
- Please refer to the following for the revised fees, “Agreement of use”, etc., and the updated system, and make sure you understand them before submitting your application.

Acceptance of applications for ABCI Groups for FY2022 closes partially at Tue, Mar 14 12:00pm.
Applications to add users and edit users to the ABCI Group for FY2022 will be closed at Tue, Mar 14 12:00pm.
- Applications to add users and edit users to the ABCI Group for FY2022 will be closed at Tue, Mar 14 12:00pm.
- If you plan to add users or edit users of ABCI Groups in FY2022, please submit your application by Tue, Mar 14 12:00pm.
- Applications for new groups and additional points have already been closed.
- Only storage usage applications (increasing capacity of the Group Area and using Cloud Storage) can be submitted after Tue, Mar 14 12:00pm.
Application for continuation should be submitted by Fri, Mar 24!!!
If your renewal application is approved by Fri, Mar 24, you will be able to access the ABCI User Portal immediately after the maintenance at Fri, Apr 7 5:00pm.
If you submit an application for continuation after Fri, Mar 24, the start of your service may be delayed.
Please understand that even if you submit a new application by Fri, Mar 24, you will not necessarily be able to access the ABCI User Portal immediately after the maintenance at Fri, Apr 7 5:00pm because it takes longer to review a new application than an application for continuation.
For the start of use in FY2023 <Important!>
Please declare for “Specific Category Applicability” as soon as possible after Apr 7 5:00pm. If you do not submit this declaration, you will not be able to use ABCI in FY2023. If you do not fall under any of the “Specific Categories,” please submit that “I am not under the Specified Category.”
Japanese students and non-residents who have been approved for continued use in FY2022 do not need to declare for the “Specific Category Applicability”.

- (∗1) From April, 200 million inodes will be set as the upper limit of inodes, and new files/directories cannot be created if the number of inodes exceeds the upper limit (200 million if no request for increase is made). Administrators who are in charge of using the ABCI group that has exceeded 200 million inodes should apply for the increase by Fri, Mar 17 5:00pm, by sending an e-mail following the procedure at "Quotas for Group Areas".
- (∗2) If you apply for an increase inode quotas by Fri, Mar 17 5:00pm, you will be able to use the service with the increased inode limit from Fri, Apr 7 5:00pm. If the application is made after that time, it will be set sequentially. Please understand that you will not be able to create new files/directories until it is set.
- (∗3) Please understand that the response will be slower than usual.
- (∗4) You can apply as a function of the ABCI User Portal, but your application will be denied.
- (∗5) You can apply as a function of the User Portal, but your application will be denied. {: #note4}
(*5) Storage usage applications (increase capacity of the Group Area, use of the Cloud Storage) can be submitted to the FY2022 group. However, after applying for continuation to FY2023, the items applied for in the FY2022 group will not be transferred to the FY2023 group.
